NOIDA: The Noida Authority plans to construct a foot over-bridge (FOB) on DSC Road to connect GIP mall’s Gate No. three with Sector 28 and has issued tenders for the challenge. The challenge will immensely benefit customers and commuters who jaywalk around the divider to move the busy highway.
S Okay Jain, president of Sector 18 market association, said the FOB can be essential for pedestrians. “Commuters and residents of sectors 27 and 28 need to move the street day-to-day to go in opposition to GIP mall and Sector 18. People coming to the Sector 28 automotive market and those from the Sector 18 facet would also use the FOB. There is no other FOB till Botanical Garden metro station,” he said.
The FOB shall be advanced on build-operate-transfer basis. The contractor will develop the challenge, generate revenue through ads and hand over the challenge to the Noida Authority after ten years.
The remaining date for submission of delicate software is February 27.
