VADODARA: The Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has issued closure realize to a fertilizer manufacturing and buying and selling corporate in the city, as well as slapped a high-quality on it for flouting air pollution norms.

Looking at the unit’s prime emission stage, the board issued a closure order on February four under the provisions of Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1921. Also, the company’s financial institution guarantee of Rs five lakh has been forfeited by means of GPCB. “As in keeping with norms, energy and water supply to the unit has been disconnected and it has been closed down. We will revisit the company later to test if they have got began complying with the necessary norms,” Shah added.
