HYDERABAD: A two-year-old lady died after falling into an open drain whilst she was once playing outside her space in Mailardevpally on Wednesday.
The deceased was once known as Riya, a resident of Udamgadda space.
According to police, the incident happened at around 6.30 pm, when the victim's father was once out for paintings, whilst the mother was once inside of the house.
"The girl fell down while playing and drowned. The mother only found out after half an hour. Initially, when the mother could not find her daughter, she searched for her in the colony, later they checked the drainage and found her," said a police officer.
The lady was once taken to a health center the place the duty doctor declared her introduced dead. Police have registered a case of unintentional demise.
