PATNA: Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) president and previous CM Jitan Ram Manjhi mentioned on Friday denied studies in some sections of media that he may sign up for the NDA once more on March 3 if Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government permitted his party’s 34 demands for the uplift of the minorities and deprived sections of the society.
Manjhi, who quit NDA in February remaining year and joined the Grand Alliance of RJD and Congress, mentioned HAM(S) was purified after the resignation of state party chief Brishen Patel and nationwide spokesman Danish Rizwan as they had been making flawed statements on his behalf and destroying his image in public.
“Rizwan cooked up such statements on my behalf to create a rift between HAM(S) and different constituents of the Grand Alliance. I used to be also indignant with him for calling the Congress rally a flop show,” Manjhi mentioned and added, “Patel and Rizwan want to contest Lok Sabha election and knew that they wouldn't get the tickets. So, they began sabotaging my party.”
Manjhi mentioned each were also disillusioned over denial of a seat on the dais with different Grand Alliance leaders on the Congress rally on February 3. “On Wednesday, I warned both of them in a party meeting against anti-party activities. I also warned them of disciplinary motion in the event that they made another statements on my behalf thru WhatsApp groups,” Manjhi mentioned. He alleged that each had created greater than a dozen WhatsApp groups without his consent.
“My party members would work to uproot the Modi government at Centre and Nitish Kumar-led government in Bihar,” Manjhi mentioned.
In his resignation letter on Wednesday, Rizwan cited embezzlement of Rs12 lakh of party finances via Patel. When asked, Manjhi mentioned the allegations were true. “I've also checked financial books and located large manipulation. Patel was responsible for party promotion campaign and he siphoned off the cash,” Manjhi alleged.
