Paneer made in unhygienic condition seized

MUMBAI: Paneer weighing round 2,000kg - manufactured in unhygienic stipulations - used to be seized from two milk dairies in Vasai in the Konkan department of Maharashtra state.

Samples of the cottage cheese have been sent for testing by way of the Thane Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to establish whether it is spurious. The raid comes two weeks after a dairy in Vasai used to be raided for processing paneer using sulphuric acid.




The raids had been carried out by way of a unique workforce of the Palghar district police together with FDA officers overdue Wednesday. Around 1,500kg paneer used to be seized from Sainath Dairy on Kaman Road, Vasai (east). Ajay Dairy in the same vicinity used to be also raided and 500kg paneer used to be seized.



Police stated that paneer used to be manufactured in unhygienic situation. The materials used for the paneer had been, then again, did not come throughout as spurious.



FDA officers stated that as the paneer used to be manufactured in unhygienic situation, it's going to be destroyed. Officers stated that during case of Ajay Dairy, the employees weren't aware concerning the materials that had been going to produce the cottage cheese.




Both the dairies have been close down until report of the paneer quality arrives.
