Techie makes hoax call to delay flight, held

BENGALURU: A 49-year-old instrument engineer, who neglected boarding his Air India flight from Bengaluru to Surat on Monday night, allegedly made a danger name to the Kempegowda International Airport, announcing a bomb were placed within the plane.

But Air India staff and CISF officials sanitised the flight sooner than declaring the danger a hoax and detained the techie, Prateek Rathore Mahesh Bhai, sooner than he could board the flight.

Prateek was from Surat and had come to Bengaluru on Sunday along with his spouse and son to wait a marriage. Slated to take a 7pm flight back house, the circle of relatives reached KIA past due and located that boarding were closed.

Prateek walked out of the terminal construction. Around 6.57pm, the KIA got a danger name. Air India staff and CISF workforce suspected that Praeek could be behind the call as he had simply walked out of the terminal construction. CCTV footage showed Prateek talking on his telephone at the actual time when the danger name was made.

Airport police swung into motion and took Prateek into custody. Police resources stated Prateek hoped he could catch the flight if he could delay its departure.
