University of Mysore proposes increase in quota for students with disabilities

MYSURU: In a big relief to the scholars with more than a few disabilities, the University of Mysore (UoM) has decided to extend the reservation for college kids with more than a few disabilities from the existing three% to 5% per department/ route.

He also mentioned that the reserved seats are not fully utilised in many departments. “We need increasingly more scholars to join the post-graduation and other courses. Presently, in many departments, these seats stay unfilled,” he added.
