Mangaluru: The restored world-class art work through Italian painter Antonio Moscheni at St Aloysius College Chapel here can be inaugurated and blessed through Rev Francis Serrao, bishop of Shivamogga, on Saturday.
The chapel was transformed into an admirable murals through Italian Jesuit Brother Antonio Moscheni, who was a gifted painter educated in the famed Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, Italy. Within two-and-a-half years, he painted the entire church, protecting 829square.

On our request, Nilabh Sinha visited the chapel and gave a status record of art work and made suggestions for his or her conservation,” he mentioned, adding a crew of restorers, experts in work of art and canvasses, from New Delhi have been deputed for the work.
