Uttar Pradesh budget 2019-20: Highlights

* To building up farmers' source of revenue we now have made provision for MSP, says Yogi Adityanath.

* CM Yogi Adityanath hails state price range, terms it 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas' price range.

* Rs 1,075 crore has been allocated to acquire land for development of residential and non-residential constructions in newly created districts and newly created courts within the state.

* Rs 2,579 crore has been allocated below the Old Age and Farmers' Pension Scheme.

* Rs 50 crore has been allocated for Wi-Fi facility in all the schools and universities.

* Rs 242 crore has been allocated to offer grant-inaid to Sanskrit Pathshalas in order to inspire education of Sanskrit.

* Rs 2,275 crore has been allocated for Mid Day Meal programme.

* Rs 1,100.61 crore has been allocated for flood keep an eye on and water drainage projects.

* Rs 1,812.56 crore has been allocated for the works of Saryu Canal National Project.

* Rs 150 crore has been allocated to offer electricity to the Powerloom weavers at sponsored rates.

* Rs 100 crore has been earmarked below the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojna.

* Rs 250 crore allocated for One District, One Product (ODOP) scheme.

* Rs 6,000 crore has been allocated for Swachh Bharat Mission.

* Rs 224 crore has been proposed for Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission.

* Rs 2,954 crore has been allocated for the National Rural Drinking Water Programme and Rs 1,393 crore for National Rural Livelihood Mission.

* Rs 3,000 crore allocated for piped drinking water scheme in Bundelkhand, Vindhya region and the villages suffering from low high quality water.

* Rs 3,488 crore set aside for implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

* Rs 6,240 crore set aside for the financial yr 2019-20 below the Pradhanmantri Avas Yojna.

* Rs 247.60 crore has been allocated for upkeep and development of Gaushalas within the rural spaces.

* Govt estimates to earn Rs 165 crores from cess imposed on liquor which it is going to use for repairs of stray livestock.

* Rs 200 crores has been allocated for repairs of stray livestock in urban spaces.

* Rs 800 crore has been allocated for Jewar airport, and Rs 200 crore for airport in Ayodhya.

* Rs 910 crore has been earmarked for scholarship for minority community students.

* Rs 459 crore has been allocated to Arabi Farsi Madrassas within the state.

* UP executive to launch Kanya Sumangla Yojana for welfare of women, Rs 1,200 crore has been allocated for the same.

* Rs 300 crore and Rs 200 crore respectively has been set aside for special programmes in Poorvanchal and Bundelkhand respectively.

* Rs 13,135 crore has been allocated for construction of roads below PWD, Rs 2,100 crore for development of bridges.

* Rs 207 crore has been allocated for construction and beautification of hall from Ganga ghat to Kashi Vishwanath temple.

* Rs 101 crore has been earmarked for construction of distinguished tourist places in Ayodhya and Rs 125 crore has been allocated for Braj teerth.

* Rs 27 has been allocated for facelift of Gar Mukhteshwar shrine.

* Rs 300 crore allocated for construction of shrines.

* UP finance minister says its greatest income for 2019-20 to return from GST at Rs 77,000 crore, adopted via Rs 31,000 crore from excise and Rs 78,000 crore from Motor Vehicle Tax

* Rs 248 crore has been allocated for most cancers institute to be setup in Lucknow.

* Rs 700 crore allocated for establishing 36 police stations at the side of barracks and police strains construction, Rs 200 crore for for established order for housing in 57 hearth stations and Rs 204 crore for police modernization.

* Rs 111 crore allocated for beneficiaries neglected in PM Ayushman Yojna below CM Arogya Abhiyan.

* Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Meerut and Jhansi to get metro rail connectivity in new plan, Rs 150 crore earmarked for the same.

* Vedic Vigyan Cente at Banaras Hindu University to be given an allocation of Rs 16 crore - the largest single bite in final decade to any research centre via state executive.

* Rs 500 crore has been allocated for land acquisition to develop Defence Corridor at the side of Bundelkhand Expressway.

* Rs 3,194 crore allocated for Purvanchal, Gorakhpur and Bundelkhand Expressways.

* Basic education gets an allocation of Rs 18,845 crore.

* Rs 150 crore earmarked for regional air connectivity.

* Rs 8 crore allocated for Mathura Vrindavan auditorium.

* Rs 5 crore allocated for Ramlila Maidan boundary partitions.


* Rs 400 crore has been allocated for seven Police strains.


* Rs 700 crores allocated for strengthening police infrastructure including police stations.


* Rs 21,000 crore set aside for brand new schemes in UP.


* UP executive tables a budget of Rs four.79 lakh crore, this is a rise of 12 consistent with cent from 2018-19.
