2 bike-borne men threaten bunk staff, steal petrol

Tirupur: Two males, who stuffed petrol of their motorbike for Rs 600, escaped without paying money via wielding a 3ft-long machete and perilous workers on the petrol bunk at Eetiveerampalayam close to Perumanallur at the Kochi-Salem nationwide freeway on Wednesday midnight.
At the time of the incident, best two workers had been running on the petrol bunk, police stated.

The miscreants who came in a bike had been wearing helmets. They entered the bunk round midnight and asked the petrol pump operator to fill petrol for Rs 600.


While the rider pretended as if taking money from the pocket, the pillion rider took a 3ft-long machete from the back of the rider and wielded it. The operator needed to take a few steps back to evade the conceivable assault, stated the police.


The miscreants fled without paying money. The petrol bunk operators advised police that they had spotted the two miscreants coming to the bunk continuously.


A video of the incident is going viral on social media. The video used to be derived from CCTV pictures. The Perumanallur police are but to sign in a case.
