Rajkot: Twenty-four villages of Rajkot Urban Development Authority (Ruda) received’t face water crisis this summer season.
The state government has sanctioned Rs 78 crore for provide of water to those villages, maximum of which have change into a part of the city in spite of being out of doors the municipal corporation’s limits.
Some of these villages are expected to come below the jurisdiction of Rajkot Municipal Corporation within the close to future.
Ruda chariman Banchhanidhi Pani mentioned, “We will expand water provide machine in this villages. Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited (GWIL) has committed to supply us 25 million litre in step with day (MLD) water.”
