ALLAHABAD: There is a superb news for frequent flyers as the town goes to get direct air connectivity to 1 more home destination — Mumbai.
The Sangam town has already got direct air connectivity to number of towns. Indigo airways, which is operating an instantaneous flight to Bengaluru six days week, would function a daily flight to Mumbai from April 20.
According to regional director, Airport Authority of India (AAI), Sunil Yadav, “Flight quantity 6E-214 would take off from Mumbai (BOM) at 11:15am and land at Allahabad (IXD) at 01:30pm.”
On its go back adventure, flight quantity 6E-215 would leave for Mumbai at 02:00pm and land at 4:00pm, he added. The fare would be around Rs 4,00zero.
This is after a gap of around four years that the folks would have the ability to avail an instantaneous flight for Mumbai. Earlier, Air India had presented an instantaneous flight between the 2 towns. However, after working successfully for around six months, the flight was withdrawn following which the passengers from Allahabad had no other option however to catch a flight to Mumbai either from Varanasi or Lucknow.
“The provider provider has carried out a right kind homework concerning the possible traffic between the 2 towns and we have been assured that once there would be availability of plane, the air-service between the 2 towns would start, which might now be from April 20,” said Yadav.
Earlier, Allahabad have been attached by way of direct flights to towns like Nagpur, Indore, Lucknow, Patna, Bengaluru and Delhi.
