AMBALA: Two individuals had been killed whilst six others suffered critical accidents when a Tata Sumo collided with a UP roadways bus on Ambala-Yamunanagar freeway at round 6.30am.
The deceased were known as Surender Singh (70), Anguri Devi (46), each resident of Nohni village.
As per the report, eight individuals had been travelling in the Sumo car from village Nohni to Ambala Cantonment, after they reached close to a poultry farm on Kalpi-Saha street, their car met with an coincidence. The resources said that collision was once so sturdy that the Sumo car were given severely damaged following which driver died on the hospital whilst the lady died at the spot and six others suffered critical accidents. The injured had been rushed to MMU Hospital in Mullana.
The UP roadways bus was once travelling from Ambala Cantonment to Saharanpur.
The injured were known as complainant Kulwant Kaur, Gyanchand, Surender, Ramkaran, Harkeet Singh (13), all residents of village Nohni and Dalip Kumar, a resident of Kalpi in the district.
In her criticism, Kulwant Kaur has demanded action as per regulation against the UP roadways bus driver who had hit their car.
The Mullana police have registered a case against the unknown driver underneath sections 279 (rash riding), 304-A (causing demise via negligence), and 337 of the IPC to start the investigation into this situation.
Mullana SHO inspector Harbhajan Singh said, "In the coincidence, two individuals have died whilst six injured are present process treatment at MMU Hospital. The driver and conductor of the bus fled the spot after the coincidence and we've registered a case underneath related sections of regulation to start the probe. The autopsy and cremations of the deceased were performed. The accused would be taken into custody after obtaining records from the UP roadways.”
