COIMBATORE: Mani of Pollachi, who was once absconding after allegedly attacking the brother of the complainant in the Pollachi sexual assault case, surrendered earlier than the executive judicial magistrate court docket here on Monday. He was once lodged in the Coimbatore Central Prison.
Other accused in the case ‘Bar’ Nagaraj, Senthil, Babu and Vasanthakumar, had been arrested on February 25 and 26.
The sufferer’s brother had filed a police grievance alleging that the crowd threatened him when he attempted to record a grievance in opposition to Thirunavukarasu, the high accused in the sexual assault case.
