Yavatmal: Controversy surrounding BJP legislator from Arni, Raju Todsam, over his alleged extra-marital affair with a celebration worker deepened further on Tuesday after a lady claiming to be his ‘2d spouse’ lodged a grievance with further SP of Yavatmal, Amarsingh Jadhav, hard FIR in opposition to over a dozen individuals for abusing and assaulting her on February 12.
Jadhav, speaking to TOI, confirmed that he has won the grievance and has forwarded the same to Pandharkawda SDPO, Amol Koli, for action.
Complainant Priya Shinde claimed she got married to Todsam a yr in the past and the same has been registered with the sub-registrar at Nagpur. Since then she and Todsam were residing in combination as man and spouse at Arni, Priya stated.
Narrating the incident of February 12, Priya informed IdealNews that she was urged by her ‘husband’ Todsam to achieve Pandharkawda where a kabaddi tournament was arranged on the MLA’s birthday. “At about 10pm, Todsam joined me and we had been on as far back as Arni when a bunch of folks led by Archana Yedme, the MLA’s first spouse, intercepted us and beat me. When Todsam attempted to save lots of me from the mob, he too was overwhelmed,” Priya stated, adding “I was seriously injured.”
“I wanted to resort a grievance in opposition to the assailants the same day, but was prompt now not to take action because the PM’s discuss with was scheduled to the city on February 16,” Priya stated.
