BJP's bid to discourage dynasty politics delays naming of candidates in 5 Karnataka seats

BENGALURU: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in its efforts to deny further expansion of legacies in Karnataka seems to have saved the candidatures of the prestigious Bengaluru South constituency, rural and 3 others on hold within the state.

The remaining day for filing nominations is Tuesday until 5 pm for the first segment, of which Bengaluru South and rural may also be going to polls.

On Monday late evening, the entrance runner for Bengaluru south and wife of late Union minister H N Ananth Kumar, Tejaswini Ananth Kumar perceived to indicate that she had virtually given up at the price tag.

“Today hundreds of our fearful well wishers and BJP karyakartas visited our house. I told them AnanthKumar ji all the time believed in: Nation First, Party Next, I Last. On the same strains let's all abide through the verdict of the central management and work in opposition to #NamoAgain,” tweeted Tejaswini.

According to sources within the birthday celebration, in November 2018 when prime minister Narendra Modi arrived to lay a wreath at former union minister H N Ananth Kumar’s house, he confided within the state management and said: “Ab Ananth Kumar ka (political lineage) inke saath hi jaane do.” (Let the political lineage of Kumar end with him.)

Despite this, the birthday celebration state management really useful the name of Tejaswini, bearing in mind none different to be “eligible” to be successful Kumar’s legacy in Bengaluru south, a “protected” constituency.

However, sources said the central management took exception to this with PM Modi for my part against encouraging some other lineage within the state BJP.

“The prime reason why for holding again on Tejaswini’s candidature and that of four different constituencies seems to be the same. To end political dynasty rule,” said one senior state chief.

The BJP chief quoted the example of the saffron birthday celebration founder L K Advani’s daughter Pratibha, for whom the nanogenrian political stalwart had said he'll now not seek.

“When Advani himself denied a price tag to his daughter, the central management seems to be company on chopping all dynastic ties within the nation,” said the BJP chief.

It is alleged now that the birthday celebration is looking at technocrats from the section and even native Brahmin MLAs to fill the sneakers of Kumar.

Apart from Tejaswini, the difficulty of dynasty has also plagued the seats of Chikkodi, Bengaluru Rural and Koppal.

In Chikkodi, the birthday celebration is stuck between the brother of sitting legislator Umesh Katti, Ramesh, and Annasaheb Jolle, wife of its sitting MLA Shashikala.

In Bengaluru Rural, the state unit had proposed the name of C P Yogeeshwara or his daughter Nisha. However, even here the birthday celebration was once forced to retract as the candidates were not able to spend a rupee on campaigning for the polls.

For Koppal, the birthday celebration seems to be in a predicament after it is said nationwide president Amit Shah had taken it “for my part” when the sitting MP Karadi Sanganna attempted to “blackmail” the central management to safe a price tag for his son from Koppal.

“Arrey aisen aadmi ko kyu price tag dein?” Shah is alleged to have posed a wondered to Yeddyurappa and others.

In Raichur, the birthday celebration continues to be now not happy with Amaresh Naik.
