Thakor has remained non-committal, saying he's going to discuss with participants of his Kshatriya Thakor Sena, sooner than making an announcement about his political long term. Thakor said he's going to expose his choice on Friday afternoon. With Alpesh Thakore’s impending exit, the Congress switched into damage-control mode, at the same time as most of its senior leaders have been preoccupied with the CWC preparations. I would favor suicide to becoming a member of the BJP. Four months in the past, a BJP chief offered me a Lok Sabha ticket which I refused. After that, no person within the BJP has dared to means me,” Vasoya said. Kirit Patel, the MLA from Patan, said, “I will by no means sign up for the BJP. People misconstrued my appreciation of the federal government’s removal of the corrupt vice-chancellor of Patan University as an indication of me becoming a member of the BJP.” Siddhpur MLA Chandanji Thakor said, “These are rumours planted by way of the BJP. I request the media to not to spread those rumours. There is no query of me becoming a member of the BJP.”
