NAVI MUMBAI: More than two years after a Kharghar creche staffer was arrested for brutally assaulting a 10-month-old woman, the Alibaug district periods courtroom on Tuesday convicted her to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. The convict, Afsana Shaikh, has been lodged at Kalyan prison since her arrest in 2016.
However, the courtroom acquitted Priyanka and Pravin Nikam, the owners of Purva Playschool and Nursery in Kharghar Sector-10 . They were booked below Section 75 of Juvenile Justice Act for kid cruelty.

However, the Nikams were acquitted.” Lawyer Rushit Patel, who helped the girl’s parents struggle the legal struggle, said, “The parents are more likely to problem the creche owners’ acquittal in the high courtroom.”
