EC receives 250 complaints via cVigil app

T’puram: cVIGIL, the mobile utility launched by way of the election fee providing a possibility for public to post court cases on violation of type code of behavior (MCC), has claimed large acceptance in the capital district with the fee receiving 250 court cases throughout the app to this point.

Action has been initiated in 220 court cases, consistent with MCC nodal officer G Priyanka. The mobile app permits public to upload footage or videos of posters, flex boards and decorations displayed in houses of government and public sector institutions and in public places, which violates MCC, besides evidence of defaming statements and speeches.

After taking important action on the complaint, the returning officer will provide details to the precise petitioner throughout the app. The cVIGIL app may also be downloaded from play store or app store. tnn
