MADURAI: Claiming that he has proof of deputy chief minister and AIADMK coordinator O Panneerselvam’s hand in a scam involving Rs 2,320 crore in granting permission to regularise unapproved layouts across the state, revolt AIADMK ex-MLA from Vilathikulam meeting segment G V Markandeyan instructed newshounds on Saturday that he'll struggle a prison combat and that OPS would quickly be at the back of bars.
The allegations have surfaced days after Markandeyan expressed his displeasure over the verdict not to box him because the birthday party candidate on the by-poll at Vilathikulam meeting constituency.
A couple of days in the past he also introduced contesting the by-polls as an unbiased candidate. The former OPS loyalist accused OPS of obtaining Rs 3 per sqft to sanction 1000's of acres of unapproved layouts in rural Tamil Nadu.
Stating that he has enough proof of OPS’s hand within the scam, he added that the proof integrated paperwork, video and audio recordings of the conversations of OPS, his relations and co-workers.
Claiming that they have been amassed through folks together with intelligence group of workers and those who gave money for buying the approval, he mentioned that those who gave money are able to testify towards OPS.
Markandeyan also mentioned that he is now not releasing the proof to the newshounds as it could consequence within the reverse birthday party destroying it. He mentioned that the proofs can be submitted sooner than the court docket in a sealed cover and that the prison combat can be fought along the elections.
He also mentioned he's unsure if chief minister Edappadi Okay Palaniswami is acutely aware of the scams. He mentioned that he'll take it to the notice of the CM and expressed self belief that OPS might be kicked out of power. “Palayamkottai (jail) is able for him (OPS),” the previous MLA added.
