THANE: Residents from the lake town will have to sweat it out for another two more days as climate officers have predicted that the heat wave will continue till Wednesday. The most and minimal temperature in the town was recorded at 40.9 levels Celsius and 28.1 levels Celsius on Monday.
While the onset of summer has resulted in a rise in the most and minimal temperatures in the town previously, this time the temperature has shot up by way of over six levels Celsius.

While the utmost temperature had risen from 37.7 levels on Saturday to 40.6 levels on Sunday, the temperature shot as much as 40.9 levels Celsius on Monday. Even the minimal temperature rose to 24.3 levels Celsius on Saturday and it shot as much as 26.1 levels Celsius on Sunday and 28.1 levels Celsius on Monday.

“The heat wave took has taken us by way of wonder. Travelling around the town on a bike was insufferable. My eyes went dry and I had to take away my lens as a result of the irritation. The scarf I used to be dressed in may no longer stay the heat away and it felt like the height of summer.
