SURAT: A four-year-old male leopard was discovered lifeless near Juna Umarpada village of Umarpada taluka in Surat district all over early hours on Thursday. This is the third leopard to be discovered lifeless in the district in a suspicious condition in the past one month and the second in every week in Mangrol, the constituency of atmosphere minister Ganpat Vasava.
Preliminary investigation via woodland officers revealed that the cat could have died from a fracture in the skull.
