GREATER NOIDA: The citizens of Casa Grande Housing Society in Greater Noida’s Kasna area sought police assist after they claimed that remotely controlled drones were seen flying in front of their balconies on a couple of occasions.
The citizens claimed to have noticed a drone flying across the society around midnight on Sunday. Later, they sought police assist on Twitter.
The police said two engineering students from Noida International University, who are citizens of the same society, were flying the drones. According to the citizens, they noticed a digital camera soaring on their balconies and idea it used to be a drill performed by means of the police.
“I realized a drone at around 12 am on Sunday in front of my balcony. When I went to the balcony, the digital camera moved away. After taking a round of the towers, it moved in opposition to the Yamuna Expressway which is infrequently at 300 meter distance from our society. At first, I assumed maybe the police is making an attempt to locate some accused, therefore I discussed about it in our citizens’ chat workforce. Meanwhile, according to the guidelines of the ministry of civil aviation issued in August 2018, it is illegal to fly drone cameras at Airport, residential society and delicate spaces as they're called ‘No Fly Zones’.
