Gujarat Board exams end; Papers to be checked by April second week

AHMEDABAD: The tests for sophistication X and XII performed by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) ended on March 23. The tests had started on March 7.


According to the board officers, the assessment of about 18 lakh resolution sheets has begun from March 16 and the academics were requested to finish the process by second week of April. Afterwards, the academics can be engaged in election-related assignments, they added.



"This year, there were 105 copy cases registered in class X exams and 95 in class XII. All DEOs have been asked to review the CCTV cameras from different centres under their jurisdiction and report any discrepancy or incidents within 20 days. Errant students will be called upon for a hearing after the process is over," said a senior board professional.


The board officers have additionally registered over 15 circumstances for violation of laws corresponding to impersonation of a scholar inside an examination corridor, the use of cell phone or good devices right through examination and not submitting the solution sheet to the examiner. Police officers were requested to probe one of the circumstances after submitting of FIR, said officers.
