SURAT: A tender housewife committed suicide by jumping from the top floor of her construction in Adajan space of the town on Wednesday. The lady’s father registered police complaint against her husband and in-laws for abetting his daughter’s suicide.
Adajan police said the lady had were given married to lace dealer Jaysinh Bhansali 11 months ago. He together with his mom Sushila was physically and mentally harassing her for dowry. Every day, Bhansali and his mom would ask her to get something from her father’s space. On failing to carry gold, silver or money, she could be physically tortured. Fed up of day by day torture, the lady jumped from the top floor of the construction to her loss of life.
A police officer said investigations have begun and they are recording statements of quite a lot of other folks to determine the exact reason the lady committed suicide. Bhansali and his mom have been arrested on Friday evening.
