HUBBALLI: Gokul Road police seized Rs 2.4 lakh from a passenger at Hubballi airport on Saturday night.
Police inspector Dilip Nimbalkar advised STOI that the airport personnel spotted bundles of cash while checking the bags of Nithin Meshwade. Meshwade, a resident of Noida in Uttar Pradesh used to be about to board a Bengaluru-bound flight on Saturday night, he stated.
The personnel alerted the police who visited the airport along side a flying squad. Police are but to ascertain why Meshwade used to be the boarding flight from Hubballi.
