RAJKOT: Within simply 5 days of issuing the notification banning PUBG, Rajkot police have arrested 10 youngsters for enjoying the battle royale sport in the town.

Police Inspector VS Vanzara of Rajkot taluka police station advised TOI: “All these students had been arrested for violating the notification issued via police commissioner. They had been launched on bail later.”
Those arrested had been Chirag Sakaria, Yakub Pathan, Rameez Falani, Madhav Vyas, Yash Joshi, Neel Adhera, Harnish Panchal, Kalpesh Rathod and Harkishan Bangrotia . They have been taking part in PUBG since 1:30pm while police nabbed them at just about 4pm.
“We wish to give out a stern message that the notification banning PUBG gained’t remain simply on paper,” said a senior police official.
The notification issued via police commissioner Manoj Agarwal said that the PUBG and Momo video games incite violence among the avid gamers, who are mostly adolescence and school-going youngsters. This in flip was once adversely affecting their academics. The notification also claimed that addiction to such video games was once resulting in adversarial behavioural trade among the avid gamers.
