MUMBAI: Budget provider IndiGo is providing jobs to pilots of Jet Airways along with repayment for overdue salaries from the cash-strapped full service airline.
IndiGo, the country's biggest airline relating to market share, on Tuesday also said that all task provides are consistent with its present phrases and conditions.
Crisis-hit Jet Airways has not paid salaries to its pilots, engineers and other senior control for more than 3 months now.
"IndiGo is offering Jet Airways' pilots job opportunities," an IndiGo spokesperson instructed PTI.
The no-frills airline's reaction got here to queries on whether it used to be having a look to rent pilots from Jet Airways and in addition providing them significant amount as joining bonuses.
The queries have been sent to IndiGo's leader working officer Wolfgang Prock-Schauer.
"We are not offering a signing bonus. We are offering a compensation for overdue salaries," the spokesperson said.
