CHANDIGARH: The Union ministry of street delivery and highways has issued the notification pronouncing to acquire 24 hectares land for construction of the Kartarpur hall street and 21 hectares for the integrated test post(ICP) alongside the border.
The hall is being constructed to facilitate Sikh pilgrims’ talk over with to Kartarpur Sahib gurdwara in Narowal inside of Pakistan – 4km from the international border in Dera Baba Nanak. The notification has been issued under phase 3-D of The National Highways Act, 1956.
