Kolkata: 3-yr-old girl falls from train, dies

KOLKATA: A 3-year-old girl died after falling off a shifting teach close to Khardah station on Saturday morning. She used to be travelling together with her parents and uncle from Bihar to Kolkata on Anand Vihar Express.

The kid, Rani Parveen, used to be taken to College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital with multiple accidents and later, shifted to SSKM Hospital, where she died.


According to the police, the circle of relatives used to be from Bihar however they stayed on Chittaranjan Avenue in Kolkata. While travelling to Kolkata, the circle of relatives didn't have any reservation they usually made an association to sit down in the passage close to the doorway of a compartment, police stated. "The child's father Md Jamir and mother had fallen asleep and her uncle was in the toilet. As the train slowed down near Khardah station, Parveen tried to go to the toilet by herself and fell through the open door," an officer stated.


People on the station raised an alarm and the teach used to be stopped. Doctors stated she sustained serious accidents to her head and her legs and hands had been broken. An unnatural death case used to be registered by means of the Bhowanipore police.
