LUCKNOW: Panic gripped Chinhat on Saturday after two dead our bodies had been recovered from the world.
Some commuters noticed the frame of a man floating within the Indira Canal and informed the police, who fished out the frame. While police was once trying to ascertain the identification of the man, some villagers reached the scene and informed in regards to the presence of any other frame within the canal.
During investigation, a circle of relatives reached the scene and recognized the first frame to be of 1 Shiv Kumar (25) of Kursi police station house of Barabanki. "Shiv Kumar was mentally challenged and was missing for the last 4-5 days. His family reached Chinhat Kotwali to seek detail of the recovery of unidentified bodies from the canal. When they were shown the body, they identified him," police spokesperson A Okay Dwivedi stated. He stated the frame bore no damage marks and it seemed that the sufferer died of drowning.

"The deceased was identified as Pawan Kumar Mishra (32) of Kothi police station area of Barabanki. The police recovered a diary, in which cell number of one of Pawan's relatives was written. Circle officer, Gomtinagar, Avnishwar Chandra Srivastava stated that if autopsy document expose any foul play, a case can be registered and probed accordingly.
