MUMBAI: Five individuals have been killed and round 43 injured when the bus during which they have been travelling misplaced keep an eye on and fell right into a gorge at the Mokhada- Trimbakeshwar Road in Mokhada taluka of Palghar district on Sunday.
Rescue operation is on. The injured were taken to hospitals in Trimbakeshwar in Nashik district.
The Mokhada police showed that five bodies have been recovered from the gorge. The bus wearing devotees from Gujarat was once returning from the holy the city of Shirdi.
The devotees had halted on the famous Shiva temple and have been returning to their homes in Gujarat.
As the bus crossed Torangan village in Trimbakeshwar at round 2.45 pm it fell into the Torangan ghat which falls within the Mokhada taluka.
Police mentioned that seek operation for the passengers is on. Efforts are on to pull out the bus from the gorge.
