MUMBAI: A fireplace erupted in round 40 slums at Siddharth Colony, Chembur at round eight.30pm on Tuesday. Civic officers stated the hutments have been located on collector's land.
Four fire engines, one jumbo tanker and an ambulance have been rushed to the spot.
While no injuries had been reported in the incident, it took firefighting personnel over an hour to keep watch over the flames.
