THANE: The sessions court convicted a 28-year-old guy from Mumbra for the homicide of a 14-year-old lady and sentenced him to lifestyles and 10 years for attempt to homicide of her father. Zahir Sayyed was once convicted by district pass judgement on S P Gondhalekar for offences punishable underneath sections 302, 307 and 452 of Indian Penal Code and fined Rs 6,000.
Prosecutor Ujwala Moholkar told court that the accused was once infatuated with the sufferer, then elderly 14, and sought after to marry her and had expressed a want to the family of the sufferer. But the family was once adverse to it and the woman told him she was once a minor.
