NCP corporator's husband killed by mob in Beed

MUMBAI: The husband of an NCP corporator was once on Monday hacked to death in Maharashtra's Beed district allegedly by means of a mob which suspected he was once serving to individuals of the Shikalgar neighborhood in a kidnapping case, police stated.

Pandurang Gaikwad (50) was once attacked with swords, sickles and sticks in Phule Nagar area of Parli-Vaijnath the city within the district, an respectable stated.

"Gaikwad sustained serious injuries in the attack in the early hours of Monday. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival," the respectable stated.

Police stated the attack may well be a fallout of the kidnapping of a 16-year-old boy 4 months in the past allegedly by means of individuals of the Shikalgar neighborhood as the minor was once in love with a woman from that neighborhood.
