Pansare murder: Rs 50L reward to trace accused

During hearings of the public hobby litigations filed via the circle of relatives of Pansare as well as anti-superstition activist Narendra Dabholkar, who was murdered in a similar fashion in Pune on August 20, 2013, a department bench of the Bombay top court comprising Justice S C Dharmadhikari and Justice B P Colabawala had expressed displeasure over the way the SIT was investigating the case.


"The investigating officer is inefficient, and the work of the special investigation team has been reduced to a laughing stock," Justice Dharmadhikar and Colabawala noticed.


The court asked the extra leader secretary (house) to be present on the subsequent date of listening to, Thursday, March 28, to explain to the court the attitude of the investigating officer.


Pansare and his spouse had been attacked on February 16, 2015, near his Kolhapur house and he succumbed to his accidents on February 20.


The Pansare and Dabholkar families, too, expressed displeasure with the dismal growth of investigation.
