PM Narendra Modi to unveil slew of projects in UP today

NEW DELHI: With the Election Commission all set to announce dates for Lok Sabha polls any day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to unveil several tasks on Friday throughout whistle-stop visits to Kanpur, Ghaziabad and his personal constituency of Varanasi in Uttar Pardesh.

The PM shall be back within the nationwide capital within the evening to attend a gathering of the BJP parliamentary board, the birthday celebration’s best decision-making body, to take stock of poll preparations.

Modi will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple at Varanasi the place he'll lay the basis stone of Kashi Vishwanath Temple way Road and its beautification. The PM will attend National Women Livelihood Meet at Deendayal Hastkala Sankul in Varanasi. He will distribute appreciation letters to five women self-help teams. Members of the teams may even share their studies with the PM.

In Kanpur, Modi will unveil the Panki Power Plant, the 660 MW electricity era and distribution unit. PM may even inaugurate Lucknow Metro Rail Project and lay the basis stone for Agra Metro Rail Project.


PM will inaugurate Dilshad Garden - Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda) Section of Metro in Ghaziabad.


PM will inaugurate the civil terminal at Hindon airport which will function short-haul domestic flights.


PM will lay the basis stone of Delhi - Ghaziabad - Meerut RRTS, a high speed corridor which will carry Meerut a lot nearer to Delhi besides decongesting the nationwide capital.


The PM may even unveil more than a few tasks in Ghaziabad these days.
