Pune: Trio held for brutal attack on 19-yr-old

PUNE: Three males brutally attacked a 19-year-old college pupil inside a gated society in Kondhwa on Friday night time.

The sufferer, Abdulla Durraj Gore, a first-year BSc pupil, has registered an FIR with the Kondhwa police, who arrested the men. The suspects, Ubed Saeed Khan (30), Sufiyan Rafique Khan (33) and Abdulla Raja Shaikh (28), were remanded in magisterial custody and despatched to Yerawada prison.

Gore, a resident of Ujjwal Park housing society on NIBM Road, drove in a hatchback automotive to fulfill his aunt at Konark Pooram society. He grew to become right sharply into the rear gate of the society on NIBM Bypass Road, narrowly slicing off a motorbike coming from the other aspect.

“I had flashed the indicator and sounded the horn whilst turning. Ubed used to be on the phone whilst driving the motorcycle. I believed my car grazed his motorcycle and stepped out of the auto to make an apology, however he abused me and hit me with his helmet. I attempted to pacify him, but when he didn’t relent, I drove into the society,” Gore advised TOI.

Ubed chased Gore inside the society and even known as his buddies, who got here there on bikes. “Sufiyan Khan and Abdulla Shaikh attacked me with an iron rod once I were given out of the auto. My aunt rushed out of her flat and attempted to intervene, however they abused her too,” Gore stated.


Gore then known as his cousin Hassan, who advised the attackers to stick away. “They had been in no temper to concentrate, forcing my cousin to brandish his authorized revolver and fire it into the air,” Gore stated.


The suspects panicked and ran away. Gore, who suffered injuries throughout his frame, known as the police. Senior inspector Anil Patil of the Kondhwa police stated this used to be a street rage incident. “The assailants, workers of private companies, don’t know the sufferer. We have arrested the trio under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Maharashtra Police Act,” Patil stated.


Inspector Mahadeo Kumbhar stated, “Hassan fired within the air because the assailants attacked the coed on his head. The weapons used within the crime had been seized.”


“Hassan, a businessman, had acquired an all-India firearms licence from the district magistrate in Allahabad. The licence is registered with the Pune police,” assistant inspector Vivek Padvi stated.
