Vadodara: Crime branch sleuths have busted a fake recruitment scam and arrested two individuals within the city. The police had won criticism from Sachin Patel who used to be duped through some individuals beneath the pretext of getting him a job within the State Bank of India (SBI).
According to the police, Rushikesh Purohit, a resident of Bhayli promised Patel a job within the SBI and demanded Rs two lakh from him. Purohit confirmed Patel a fake call letter from his mobile phone. Patel first paid Rs two lakh after which gave some other Rs 6.50 lakh to Purohit for buying the task. Another accused, Ritesh Rao then ready a fake call letter and identification card of SBI and gave it to Patel.
When Patel realized that he were duped, he approached the crime branch. While Rushikesh and Umesh Pandya were arrested, different accused Ritesh Rao and Atul Rathod are absconding. The cops have seized fake SBI call letter, 3 ID playing cards and two cell phones.tnn
