Rickety arm of Charni Road FOB razed in Mumbai

MUMBAI: After pulling down the volatile foot over-bridges (FOBs) at Marine Lines and Powai remaining week, the BMC demolished probably the most arterial rickety hands of the FOB out of doors Charni Road station on Wednesday. Last week, the BMC had demolished the Marine Lines and Powai FOBs which have been among the 14 constructions to be razed and reconstructed as really helpful by the structural audit of 296 bridges, FOBs and road over-bridges performed between 2016 and and August 2018, which was once undertaken after the 2016 Mahad bridge collapse on Savitri river that had claimed 41 lives.


The audit document had found 110 constructions in excellent condition, and really helpful primary upkeep for 107 constructions and minor ones for 61.
