LAGOS: At least 10 kids were among ratings of folks missing Wednesday after a four-storey construction collapsed in Lagos, with rescuers trying to achieve them in the course of the roof of the damaged construction.
The kids were attending a nursery and primary college at the top flooring of the residential construction when the construction collapsed.
Police stated they believed ratings of folks were trapped underneath the rubble.
The incident happened near Itafaji marketplace on Lagos Island in Nigeria's economic capital at round 10:00 am (0900 GMT).
In chaotic scenes, panicked folks, local citizens and surprised onlookers rushed to the area as police, firemen and medics staged a large rescue operation.
