LUCKNOW: Five UP cites got new sewage remedy vegetation (STPs) on Thursday. The STPs, every having capacity to regard 45 million litres sewage in step with day (MLD), had been constructed at the cost of Rs 1,969 crores.
These STPs have arise in Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Agra and Ayodhya.
These STPs had been part of the seven initiatives value Rs 2,349 crore which have been inaugurated through Union house minister Rajnath Singh at a function held at Jhulelal Park in Lucknow. Other initiatives which inaugurated inlcuded the widened 156 km stretch of National Highway-56, from Varanasi to Sultanpur, and Rs 200-crore repair paintings of a 25km highway. The minister also laid the basis of 55 initiatives to be constructed with an estimated value of Rs one lakh crore.
These include construction and repair of five,772 km community of roads through National Highway Authority of India and the public works department and health centres at several villages in UP.
