Sex racket busted at Nagpur mall, two women rescued

NAGPUR: The Social Service Branch (SSB) of city crime department on Friday busted a intercourse racket running below the garb of a spa at well-known mall in East Nagpur. The police officers have rescued two ladies, including certainly one of Nepali origin, from the spot.

Police have booked Faiyaz Sheikh, Manish Lanjewar, Derik Manchedo and Tanvi Chotliya in connection with the case. They have been booked below sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.

According to police, Lanjewar and Derik own the store, whilst Faiyaz in the mastermind behind the racket. Faiyaz used to offer girls for the intercourse industry.

Faiyaz allegedly lured both the ladies into flesh industry on the pretext of giving them a good process and incentives.


The 38-year-old Nepali lady is learnt to have come to the city from Delhi 3 months ago and was working at the spa. Another 24-year-old lady from Bhillai, Chhattisgarh, got here in touch with Faiyaz who brought her to Nagpur for a job.


It is learnt that the accused used to previous price Rs2,500 from the purchasers for massage. But once they went inside the room, more cash was taken from them for ‘other services’.


SSB sleuths had been keeping track of the salon for the previous couple of days. On Friday night, they despatched a decoy buyer to the salon. Chotliya, supervisor of the spa, charged him charge for body massage and took him to the room. Some of the police officers raided the spot and rescued the women.


Police are yet to make any arrests in the case.
