BJP workers in Palghar district have been unhappy with the birthday party's choice to give the Lok Sabha seat to Shiv Sena. Expressing their agitation many workers had resigned. Following the civic ballot effects, the BJP workers pointed out that the birthday party had a greater moderate that the Shiv Sena. BJP misplaced on two seats whilst the Sena was defeated in 5 seats.
