HYDERABAD: Congress, on Saturday, submitted a representation to Governor ESL Narasimhan, charging TRS of engineering the defection of Congress MLAs into TRS, and alleged that leader minister Okay Chandrasekhar Rao was misusing his place of job for encouraging defections even as the election code was in force.

Congress advised the Governor to ship their copy of representation to the President to impose President’s Rule in Telangana through invoking Article 356 of the Constitution of India.

Congress may even report a case concerning defections with the Lok Pal, pursue additional felony motion and meet the President. “We have made up our minds to make it a countrywide factor,” said CLP chief Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
