Director Vivek Agnihotri shared how simply hours after signing the Tashkent agreement former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri died. “On January 10, 1966, Shastri had signed the Tashkent Agreement and hours later he died. A demise thriller unsolved thus far. Was it a heart assault or poison? The fact of the most important coverup has been denied to his family and us,” he told PTI.

Agnihotri is bringing the story to the silver monitors and it has for sure created an eagerness to look how the film would pan out. Ahead of the film’s free up, the makers have dropped the legitimate trailer today. It stars Naseeruddin Shah as PKR Natrajan, Pallavi Joshi as Aiysha Ali Shah, Pankaj Tripathi as Gangaram Jha, Shweta Basu Prasad as Raagini Phule, Mithun Chakraborty as Shyam Sundar Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Mandira Bedi, Ankur Rathee and Prakash Belawadi.



'The Tashkent Files' revolves across the mysterious instances surrounding the demise of the past due Prime Minister’s demise, the place the cause of his death until date is unsolved and unknown. 'The Tashkent Files' is slated to free up on April 12.
