MARGAO/VALPOI: Four folks died in three separate suicide instances that had been reported on Wednesday.
In the first case, Padmavati Chavan, 24, a Hubbali native who used to be dwelling at Mungul, Salcete, ended her existence along with her three-year previous daughter through jumping in front of a moving teach at Mungul. The incident took place at round 6.30am on Wednesday. Police mentioned the victim’s husband is a fabric merchant who owns a store in Colva.
Satyavan Gaonkar, 27, a resident of Kodal-Sattari, committed suicide through hanging himself from a jackfruit tree. Police mentioned that Satyavan used to be the son of Babuli Gaonkar, who used to be arrested on Friday for murdering his brother's wife Parvati Gaonkar at Kodal.
In the 3rd case, Ashok Gawas, 41, who used to be dwelling at Saleli-Sattari, commited suicide through hanging himself.
Valpoi police performed the panchanama and sent the our bodies to Goa scientific college and medical institution for postmortem. Valpoi PI Sagar Ekoskar is investigating the case.
