NOIDA: Three car-borne assailants allegedly kidnapped and looted a formative years close to the busy Sector 16 intersection and held him hostage for nearly 30 mins as they drove around the busy spaces like Sector 18 market and TGIP mall, on Tuesday night.
The formative years has been identified as Sarthak Rathore, a native of Agra, who works at a cafe in Noida’s Sector three. On Tuesday, Rathore had long gone to Gurgaon for some paintings and reached Noida late within the night time by way of metro. He got down at Sector 16 metro station and used to be waiting on the intersection for a car to return to his rented accommodation in Sector 12 when a silver colour Alto automobile stopped close to him and the driver presented him a lift. Rathore advised police that 4 extra other people, together with the driver were seated throughout the automobile. So, he sat on the back seat of the car.
“After driving for sometime, the assailants overpowered me and snatched Rs 500 in cash and an ATM card from me at gunpoint. The driving force then drove to an ATM in Sector 18 and asked for the ATM pin and withdrew Rs 20,000 from my account,” as Rathore said within the FIR.
The formative years additional stated that when driving round Sector 18 market, TGIP mall, sectors 20 and 39 police stations for roughly 30 mins, the assailants threw him close to Sector 16 intersection. The automobile then sped away, making it tricky for him to notice down the number plate, he added.
Rathore one way or the other controlled to walk upto Sector 20 police station and filed a criticism against the assailants who have been booked under IPC Section 392 (theft).
