ALLAHABAD: Allahabad division of the North Central Railways (NCR) would quickly be completing the installation work of 23 Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (AVTM) at various stations of the division. Of these, nine AVTM have been installed at Allahabad Junction on my own.
Public relation officer (PRO) of Allahabad division SK Gupta stated that these could be in addition to 62 AVTM that experience already been working at several of the station of the division.
Among these, nine AVTM are being installed at Allahabad,five at Kanpur Central, one each and every at Subedarganj, Khurja and Shankargarh and two each and every at Kanpur Anwarganj, Naini and Allahabad Cheoki.
The 62 AVTM which were already been installed come with Chunar (2), Mirzapur (three), Vindhyachal (2), Manda Road (1), Allahabad Cheoki (2), Naini (2), Bharwari (1), Sirathu (1), Fatehpur (three), Kanpur Central (6), Govindpuri (2) and others.
“There could be facilitators with these machines who would guide the passengers in getting the ticket in a short span of time, eliminating long queues,” stated Gupta.
