BENGALURU: Few spells of rain and the notorious froth is again at Bellandur lake to hang-out citizens round and commuter who take the lake side stretch. Since Saturday, the water body has been spewing massive swathes of poisonous froth this is accompanied by way of stink. Rituparni P, a commuter, who steadily traverses the road adjoining the lake stated, “Civic government have put in a fence contain the foam from entering the road. But whenever the wind velocity will increase, froth enters the road irking the road customers,” she added.
A neighborhood shop keeper stated the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) have built a sluice gate on the go out point of the lake to contain the foam however the similar of little use. “It is the same tale whenever it rains,” he added.
